Meet Brad.

From the Navy to mortgage broking.
Bradley (Brad) Hall is the founder of Maverick Wealth - a brokerage built on service, discipline, and loyalty.
After more than a decade serving as a Royal Australian Navy Officer, Brad brings structure, clarity, and disciplined execution to every client relationship. His time in Defence taught him that loyalty runs both ways - you show up for your team, lead with integrity, and deliver when it counts. That same mindset now defines how he approaches finance: disciplined in process, genuine in service, and committed to doing what's right, not what's easy.
Brad works with Defence members and Veterans, property investors, and business owners to craft lending strategies built on trust and long-term results. Clients value his calm professionalism, transparent guidance, and consistent support - not just through settlement, but well beyond.
Outside of the office, Brad is a husband, a dog dad, and someone who finds balance in the simple things - time with family, the gym, and a good coffee. The uniform may have changed, but the mindset remains the same: show up, do it well, and look after your own.

Brief. Execute. Debrief.
- 01
Brief.
Understand the situation, fully, before recommending anything.
Most brokers lead with a rate. I lead with the brief. Before I make a single recommendation, I want the full picture: your current position, your goals over the next five-plus years, your risk appetite, what a good outcome looks like to you, what a bad outcome looks like, and the trade-offs you're willing to make. This is the discovery call. Thirty minutes. No obligation. No rate-only pitch.
- 02
Execute.
Disciplined execution. No shortcuts, no surprises.
Once the brief is clear, the application runs cleanly. No shortcuts. No surprise paperwork. No rushed deadlines I haven't flagged with you first. Lender comparison done in your best interests under the Best Interests Duty, not based on the highest commission to me. You see every option, the trade-offs of each, and we decide together.
- 03
Debrief.
Settlement is the start, not the finish.
Most brokers stop talking once the loan settles. I don't. We run annual reviews, monitor rate movements, and flag when a refinance window opens up. If your circumstances change before then, I'm a phone call away. The relationship is the product. The loan is just the artefact of one moment in it.

"I act in your best interests when providing credit assistance to you."
The Best Interests Duty has applied to every mortgage broker in Australia since 1 January 2021 under section 158LA of the NCCP Act. Brad treats it as the floor, not the ceiling. You can ask for the comparison reasoning behind any recommendation he makes.
We are paid commission by lenders for arranging your finance. This does not cost you extra - it's built into the interest rate. We also receive trail commission as long as your loan is active.
Brad will explain the commission for any product recommended before you proceed. You can also request a full Credit Guide at any time.
